Women Leaders Podcast, Episode 123: Danette Leighton

We have another special guest this June as we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Title IX - the new CEO of the Women's Sports Foundation, Danette Leighton, who also serves in an ex officio role on the Women Leaders Board.

We talk with Danette about her transition to the CEO role - how it all came about, what she has focused in her first two months on the job, and advice she has for those of you looking to advance into the CEO role.

We also spend a lot of time talking about the Women's Sports Foundation, and their focus during this important year, the 50th anniversary of Title IX. She shares the WSF perspective on the milestone, some if it's initiatives, and ways we can all get involved and continue to move the needle.

We dive into the Women's Sports Foundation report - "50 Years of Title IX: We're Not Done Yet"... and why now more than ever; we must be protectors and advocates of Title IX.

Don't miss a moment of this conversation. Enjoy, and remember... We are Women Leaders!
