Women Leaders Podcast, Episode 18: Stevie Baker-Watson

Presented by:

Patti Phillips chats with Stevie Baker-Watson who, since 2012, has been the associate vice president for campus wellness and Theodore Katula director of athletics and recreational sports at DePauw University.

Stevie is a dynamic Division III leader, whose portfolio includes experience in nearly every aspect of sports leadership: She’s been a referee and an athletics trainer and also spent time in compliance, student-athlete development, and compliance before becoming an athletics director. In every role, Stevie says she’s the “super glue and duct tape who plugs holes and fills gaps,” an attitude that is so important if you want to be an invaluable team member, which Stevie is! We know you’ll be inspired by her motivation to jump in and make a difference at every level.

Enjoy, and remember, We Are Women Leaders!

Editor's note, 11/15/17: This podcast has been edited to remove a question that inaccurately stated that Stevie Baker-Watson had won three consecutive NCAC all-sports championships, when she has won three in her tenure. We regret the error.
