Women Leaders Podcast, Episode 34: Mónica Lebrón

Presented by:

Our guest today is deputy athletics director and chief operating officer at Tulane University, Mónica Lebrón.

As an undergraduate, Mónica was a standout softball student-athlete and team captain at Yale University. She also interned in several Division I athletic departments and met one of the greatest at the University of Michigan—a Women Leaders past president and Lifetime Achiever!—Peg Bradley-Doppes, who became Mónica’s first woman mentor in the industry.

Mónica has an incredible assertiveness and tenacity when reaching out to others to help determine the best next steps for her career—a recurring theme in this episode. As a result, she’s worked with some of our best, including Sandy Barbour and Carla Williams. Be sure to listen throughout the episode to discover Mónica’s other connections and how they influenced her path to Tulane.

Enjoy, and remember: We Are Women Leaders!
