I get to lead an incredible group of talented women student-athletes each day. They inspire me to do my best!

How have the athletic and academic opportunities afforded to you because of Title IX impacted your life? Can you imagine your life without them?

I cannot imagine a life without athletics and the opportunity to lead male and female student-athletes. I am so thankful that Title IX provided me with the opportunity to step up and lead as a woman.

Tell us about a woman who championed you in pursuing your goals. How did her influence inspire or affect you and your career?

My mother always pushed me and taught me what it meant to be a strong woman. She continues to be my role model—she inspires me and motivates me to be my best each day. I hope I can be the same role model for my daughter.

How are you continuing to champion the next generation of women and girls in sports, and raise awareness on the importance Title IX?

I hope by seeing women athletic directors, the next generation of women and girls in sports know that anything is possible. I think by actively mentoring and encouraging other women, we will continue to see the needle move.
