In partnership with the NCAA Office of Inclusion, Women Leaders launched the Women of Color Initiative to address the needs and barriers women of color experience in relation to access, advancement, and retention in collegiate athletics. As a part of the initiative, Women Leaders hosts bi-monthly Women of Color Chats featuring special guests who address relevant industry topics.
We provide the opportunity for members to connect and grow together in a fully virtual mentorship program. Talented up-and-comers will benefit from being paired with a member in the industry with similar experience and/or a similar professional path. Mentors will flex their leadership muscles and help shape the future of an aspiring woman in college athletics. The program is designed to identify short- and long-term goals, and enable mentees to formulate an effective plan for accomplishing their goals.
