The Revenue Generation Symposium, will examine the hiring trends that indicate that a strong revenue generation record is one of the most sought-after characteristics of top athletic leaders. With growing pressures of athletics budgets and an ever-changing landscape, effective strategic revenue generating programs have become increasingly vital to the health of athletics programs and individual career growth. This is a program created to empower women athletics administrators to be confident and successful executives that grow revenue by providing strategic insight, mentoring, revenue generation strategies, and technology solutions to grow new and existing revenue streams.

New AD Workshop

The New Athletic Director Workshop, for women in all divisions, is intended to address the challenges, surprises, and issues new athletic directors face during their first few years in the AD chair. The program will be developed and facilitated by legendary leaders in our industry including Cary Groth (retired athletic director, University of Nevada), M. Dianne Murphy (retired athletic director, Columbia University), Cathie Schweitzer (retired athletic director, Springfield College), plus more.
FOR: new female athletic directors who have been appointed within the last three years.

First Time Attendee Forum

New to NACWAA or first-time attending the NACWAA National Rally? Attend the First- Time Attendee Workshop before convention officially kicks off to meet other new attendees, gain tips from veteran NACWAA members and be purposeful and intentional about your convention experience. At the end of the session, we will do a quick “NACWAA How-To” to learn how to make the most of your NACWAA membership throughout the year. Learn the benefits of membership, member resources available, various programs offered, and other ways to engage with NACWAA.

Senior Admin Workshop

Sunday, October 9 : 12:30 - 2 p.m.

Senior administrators have never-ending job responsibilities and must learn to manage up, down, and sideways within their athletic departments. Take a breath and join other seasoned administrators to reignite your passion for reviving, refreshing and renewing your career. Facilitated by Kate Riffee, former athletic administrator at The Ohio State University and now coach, trained by Brene Brown, focused on wholehearted living.
FOR: women administrators who currently hold a senior/executive level positions with at least 15 years of athletic administration experience & do NOT wish to advance into an athletic director role.
Additional Fee: $25, includes curriculum materials, and lunch.
