Violet, who, because she is such a trailblazer, is featured on Makers, shares so many insights about her epic journey to becoming the first. Until Violet came along, the ranks of NBA officials were  definitely a “boys club.” Listen in to hear how Violet navigated that, overcame that, and how she became one of the most well-respected and successful referees, male or female,  in the league.
