Baker University seeks a qualified candidate to fill the role of head women's basketball coach.
This position is responsible for coaching, teaching, and managing all aspects of the Baker University women’s basketball team and will be responsible to the director of athletics for the development of a competitive varsity program. The varsity team will compete as a representative of the Heart of America Athletic Conference in the NAIA and will adhere to the guidelines set forth by the NAIA.
Job expectations include, but are not limited to, recruiting, scouting, budgeting, planning, organizing, scheduling, monitoring academic performance, and promoting intercollegiate athletics. Acceptable applicants must possess a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, a dedication to students, and an interest in pursuing a career in coaching.
Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, previous coaching and/or basketball experience and proven successful recruiting of quality student athletes.
Preferred, Master’s degree
