Job Description
Knox College invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach for the 2016 and 2017 Midwest Conference Champion women's soccer team. This is a 12-month, non-benefited position that begins anytime prior to July 1st, 2018 and will include one meal per day on the college’s meal plan while classes are in session. Salary range for this position is competitive.

The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Women’s Soccer Coach with all aspects of the program in preparation for and during season including: executing recruitment plan; daily practices; coaching at matches; coordinating travel and traveling with team to and from competitions; operating in compliance with departmental, institutional, Midwest Conference (MWC) and NCAA rules and regulations; additional duties as assigned. Additionally, this position will have game day operations duties within the athletic department and mascot scheduling oversight responsibilities. Training will be provided.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and prior experience as a collegiate soccer student-athlete or coach. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to the welfare and academic development of student-athletes within the NCAA Division III philosophy. Candidates with experience in coaching goalkeepers and collegiate recruiting are preferred.
