Job Description
The Department of Athletics at Rogers State University is accepting applications for a Head Women’s Soccer Coach. This position is responsible for the management and administration of all phases of the women’s soccer program. The Head Women’s Soccer Coach is expected to adhere to the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the team through its continued development and transition to NCAA Division II. The successful candidate must be able to recruit quality student athletes who can excel in both athletics and academics. The Head Women’s Soccer Coach will develop practice and game strategies which will allow the team to be successful. The Head Women’s Soccer Coach will be required to ensure an atmosphere of compliance with all institutional, conference, and national association rules and regulations. The Head Women’s Soccer Coach will carry out any other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics or the President of the University. 


Develop and adhere to an annual budget for the women’s soccer program. Participate in public relations activities, speaking engagements, and interviews. Support and participate in fundraising initiatives for the Department of Athletics under the direction of the Director of Athletics. Develop a competitive schedule and coordinate travel details for road contests. 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities: A demonstrated knowledge of the day to day operations of a college soccer program and athletic department. A proven record in following directives and being responsible for tasks which have been assigned. 

Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree and extensive knowledge of the sport of soccer with a demonstrated ability to teach the sport. Must have college coaching experience or high school head coaching experience.

Preferred Qualification:  Master’s degree with experience recruiting and coaching at the collegiate level. Head Coaching Experience.
