Texas Woman’s University, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Lone Star Conference, is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Athletics for Business Affairs, a 12-month benefits-eligible appointment. This position reports to the Director of Athletics, serves as the day-to-day financial administrator for the Intercollegiate Athletics Department, and provides management and oversight of the department’s business operations including overall budget integrity, purchasing, event and travel contracts, cash handling, revenue reconciliation, and other financial areas. The Assistant AD for Business Affairs is also responsible for complying with University, NCAA and EADA financial reporting requirements. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills, and strong organizational skills, motivation and self-direction.
Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Sports Management or other related fields. Master’s degree in an aforementioned discipline or CPA preferred.
Minimum three years demonstrated record of successful budget management/development and business affairs. Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics and business affairs preferred. Experience with EADA reporting preferred.
