BSN Sports Rising Star Award

The BSN Sports Rising Star Award recognizes an entry-level member who is 0-3 years in their career and demonstrates potential to make a significant leadership impact in the future. This award highlights members who have an interest in pursuing a career in sport.

Qualifications include:

• Be an emerging leader within sport at an institution, conference, or organization;
• Demonstrate outstanding promise to continue service and leadership within the industry;
• Exhibit leadership involvement on campus, in a conference office, or at an organization (events, captain, SAAC, etc.).

The recipient of this award will receive a one-year complimentary Women Leaders in Sports membership (if not a member) and recognition at the Women Leaders in Sports National Convention in the year awarded.

Selection: The recipient of the Rising Star Award will be selected by the Women Leaders in Sports Awards Committee and the final slate will be approved by the Women Leaders in Sports Board of Directors.
