BSN Sports Commitment Award

The BSN Sports Commitment Award recognizes a mid – senior level sport executive with 8+ years of experience who is committed to providing leadership and guidance within sports, goes beyond the call of duty, and provides outstanding service to one's department, conference office, or organization.

Qualifications include:

• Be a full-time employee with 8+ years of experience in sport at an institution, conference or organization;
• Demonstrate a commitment in providing the best experience to those they serve (i.e. student-athletes, professional athletes, events, those working in sport, etc.);
• Demonstrate support of diversity and gender equity; Demonstrate a commitment to professional development;
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor;
• Contribute to the advancement of the department operations, services, and/or successful programs;
• Exhibit commitment to the mission of the institution, conference office or organization and sport.

The recipient of this award will receive recognition at the Women Leaders National Convention in the year awarded.

Selection: The recipient of the Commitment Award will be selected by the Women Leaders in Sports Awards Committee and the final slate will be approved by the Women Leaders in Sports Board of Directors.
