Member Circle Call: High School Athletics Administrators
Are you a current high school athletic administrator or have an interest in the field? Connect and learn from others in the field being apart of Women Leaders High School Athletics Administrators Circle! This call will be led by chair Jackie Randall (Elk Grove High School) and Dr. Donna Duffy the Program Director for the Advancement of Girls and Women in Sport and Physical Activity.
Purpose: A platform to help create awareness and further engage and strengthen the skill set of women in High School Athletic Administration, this circle will develop and teach best practices for hiring/retaining/mentoring female coaches, problem solving, the 3 F's - Football, Finance, and Fundraising, finding opportunities for larger impact, and networking with others in similar positions.
Dr. Donna Duffy will join the call as an Assistant Professor in Kinesiology and as a Director in the Center for Women's Health and Wellness at UNC Greensboro. She and a team of researchers, as well as 150 North Carolina sport coaches and administrators created the Coaching Coaches program. The Coaching Coaches program is designed to eliminate the use of sexually violent language in coaching.
