Kansas City, Mo.—Women Leaders in Sports (“Women Leaders”) announces its alignment with 65 conference, institution, and organizational sponsors of the Women Leaders in Sports National Convention. As women’s sports is undoubtedly growing and breaking attendance records all over the country, it is no surprise that Women Leaders has broken a record for the number of sponsors for this year’s Convention in New Orleans on October 8-10th.

The growth and positive impact of the Women Leaders in Sports National Convention is due in large part to the unwavering commitment of these sponsors to support and elevate women working in sports. The sponsors directly influence the Convention by providing funding and enabling us to host a world-class event for over 1300 attendees.

“I am thrilled that so many conferences, institutes, and organizational sponsors have stepped up to sponsor our National Convention,” said Patti Phillips, Women Leaders CEO. “Their support allows us to create a one-of-a-kind experience for our members that goes beyond the three-day event. It also confirms that investing in women and in pathways to leadership for women is an important and good business decision."

Building off the success of the 2022 Trailblazers Luncheon, Women Leaders created the "Lunch with Leaders and Legends" event at the 2023 National Convention. Hosted on Tuesday, October 10th, the luncheon features 80 female leaders and legends from the sports industry. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to network while hearing the personal stories, career journeys, and insights directly from 80 women of influence.

The title sponsors of the Lunch with Leaders and Legends include the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Big 12 Conference, Big Ten Conference, and Southeastern Conference (SEC). The supporting sponsors for the Lunch with Leaders and Legends include Atlantic 10 Conference, Conference USA, Mid-American Conference (MAC), Mountain West Conference (MW), Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

In addition to the Conference sponsors for the Lunch with Leaders and Legends event, over 50 institutions, conferences, and industry organizations have committed their support as a sponsor at one of three levels: Power, Strong, and Inspire. The organizations who committed their support are below.
