Women Leaders Announces Morgan Stanley as its Exclusive Financial Education Sponsor

Kansas City, Mo.— Women Leaders in College Sports and Women Leaders is excited to announce Morgan Stanley Global Sports & Entertainment (GSE) as its Exclusive Financial Education sponsor. This continued alliance will specifically focus on financial literacy education and planning resources for women leaders working in sports at all levels, It will also include thought leadership content, dedicated tools and resources, in-person programming and access to financial advisors within Morgan Stanley’s Global Sports & Entertainment business, a division of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management dedicated to serving the unique and sophisticated needs of elite and professional athletes, entertainers, executives, creators, and other top talent and professionals in the sports and entertainment industry. The division consists of over 200 Financial Advisors with the Global Sports & Entertainment Director/Associate Director designation, several of whom are former professional and collegiate athletes and sports industry professionals who once embarked on similar journeys to that of today’s women leaders in sports.

This joint-effort aligns with the Women Leaders belief that the world needs more women leaders in sports and supports Morgan Stanley’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. With a shared vision, the two organizations are proud to accelerate their mission to drive progress for women leading in sports by helping Women Leaders as they plan for their financial journeys, both in the present and future.

This expanded alliance between Women Leaders and Morgan Stanley GSE will be adding to what has already been an engaging and fruitful relationship aimed at empowering women in sports and providing them with the tools, resources, and knowledge to succeed in their personal and professional journeys, enhancing Women Leaders’ membership experience through robust financial education content and programming – before, during and after the Conference in Fall 2023.

There will be a dedicated section in the Women Leaders Leadership Hub for Financial Fitness content, provided by Morgan Stanley Global Sports & Entertainment, and it will be updated regularly to remain current. Morgan Stanley GSE will also be involved with the 2023 Women Leaders National Convention, taking place in New Orleans, LA, October 8-10, 2023.
